In the early morning, we will pick you up from your hotel in the city and from there you will begin your journey to the Great Wall. The first section you will encounter is the Badaling Great Wall, about 75 kilometers northwest of Beijing. This is perhaps the most popular section of the Great Wall and has been extensively restored on the whole. The winding mountain scenery here is dotted with the watchtowers and battlements of the wall.
When coming to lunch time, dine at a restaurant nearby and continue your walks at the Juyongguan Great Wall, altogether about 60 kilometers from Beijing in the Changping District. Wrapping the northern Chinese mountains, this section of the Great Wall was constructed in the Ming Dynasty and was part of a crucial pass in the landscape of the same name.
When today's visit finish, the guide will transfer you to your hotel with the private car.
Today your guide will also pick you up in the hotel lobby with the private car. Historically, this part served as the northern barrier and protected the capital and royal tombs.
