The Forbidden City
According to a notice of the Palace Museum (the Forbidden City), alcohol or other drinks might not be taken into the Forbidden City. Water and other drinks can be purchased in the Forbidden City.
Tiananmen Square
Some local people may try to sell you something like souvenirs or Beijing travel magazines. If you are interested in buying, remember to bargain; if not, just walk away.
The Mutianyu Great Wall(with round way cable car)
Compare with the Badaling section,walking sticks may be desirable for Mutianyu section.especially for people who don't have strong legs or steady balance.
Summer Palace
1. Please note that the ticket only includes the entrance fee. Some areas like Longevity Hill and the opera recital area require a further payment to enter.
2. Boating on the Kunming Lake is highly recommended. The boating takes about 10 minutes, and It feels more tranquil and relaxed to stay away from crowds of tourists. The boating fee is not included in the entrance fee.
