Tian’anmen Square and the Forbidden City are the first places we will knock off your list of places to see in Beijing. They are located close by and are a must-see for first-timers where you will get a glimpse into China’s once royal family’s history.
The Treasure House in the Forbidden City is a must see on the list. This is a special area storing treasures of the royal family, offering a deeper insight into the mystery of this family.
After lunch enjoy a rickshaw ride through the Hutong, experiencing the gem of Beijing culture.
Today you will capture the awe and splendor of China’s great wonders. First stop is the Temple of Heaven to see where ancient emperors offered up prayers and worship to the God of Heaven.
From there, step onto Mutianyu Section of the Great Wall. This is the most popular section of the Wall for foreigners, due to its charming scenery and less-crowded surroundings.
Your last day in this Capital, you will set foot onto the Summer Palace. There you can take a leisurely boat ride on the lake, see the Garden of Virtue and Harmony, which is the best and biggest royal garden in China. Enjoy a relaxing lunch before you see the 2008 Olympic sites.
Check out the Beijing Olympic Stadiums to appreciate the exterior of the Bird’s Nest and Water Cube. From there your guide will take you to the airport for your flight to Xi’an – China’s once ancient capital city. There your Xi’an guide will be waiting for you so you can enjoy and explore other amazing sites and wonders.

What awaits you today is China’s most famous archeological sites in Xi’an — The Terracotta Warriors. Capture, learn and understand more of China’s ancient history dating back 2000 years ago. There you will enjoy local cuisine for lunch nearby.
Go back to the city center to climb the Big Wild Goose Pagoda housing valuable Buddha items and built during the Tang Dynasty.
Your second day in Xi’an you get to stretch your legs, where you can hire and ride a bicycle around the Ancient City Wall. You will appreciate the views of the city from all angles and see how this city has changed from ancient times to where it stands today. A local lunch is arranged for you.
In the afternoon you can learn more about this Ancient Capital at the Shaanxi Historical Museum. After your history lesson, your visit to Xi’an will end! Your local guide will escort you to the airport for your flight to Guilin. There your Guilin guide will pick you up and help you check-in the hotel.
Today, you will venture out to the fields. Your guide and driver will take you to Ping’an Village of Longji Terraced Rice Fields, about 2 hours drive from Guilin. There you will encounter the lifestyle of the Zhuang and Yao minorities living in their wooden houses. Cable cars are included to take you to the top, where you can enjoy the amazing views of the terraced fields or if you are energetic hike along the fields.
Later in the afternoon you will be driven back to Guilin where your guide and driver will drop you off at your hotel.
Today get ready to embrace the essence of Guilin scenery— Li River. In the morning your local guide will escort you to Mopanshan Pier to board a ship for a 4-hour Li River Cruise. Along the way your guide will help you capture the breathtaking landscapes. A simple buffet lunch is included on this cruise.
Arrive into Yangshuo, where you can take your time to explore the place or sit and relax at one of the many bars or cafes along West Street to kill the time.
This morning you will take a bicycle ride through Yangshuo’s countryside to enjoy the stunning scenery along the roads. Your local guide will take you to visit a local family where you can learn more about village life.
After a local lunch, it’s time to say goodbye to Yangshuo and go to Guilin airport by private car to your last destination — Shanghai! There your Shanghai guide is eager to meet and serve you.
See this metropolis city — Shanghai. The Shanghai World Financial Center will be your first stop. Visit Floor 94, 96 and ascend to Floor 100 to enjoy a bird’s-eye view of Shanghai center. The Bund is a must-visit where you can enjoy the charm of Old Shanghai vs modern Shanghai.
From there visit the Yuyuan Garden and its nearby local market—the Temple of City God.
Explore Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall to see the development of Shanghai and its future.
Enjoy a hearty breakfast on your last day in China at your hotel. Your guide will wait for you in the hotel lobby to transfer you to the airport for your homebound flight.
We use different hotels for different tour classes while the itinerary is the same. Deluxe Class is usually staying at a 5-star hotel, Superior Class at a 4-star hotel and Tourist Class at a 3-star level hotel. The prices for one person are based on sharing twin hotel rooms with another guest. A supplement is necessary if you want to book single rooms. And the prices may rise during national holidays, such as the National Day (September 30th to October 6th) and Chinese New Year (late January or early February)
