The Bund

- Yuyuan Garden: Yuyuan Garden is located in the center of Shanghai old quarters. It was a private garden built in 1559 during the Ming Dynasty, with typical Chinese classic architecture and style. The complex covers an area of 2 hectares, with rockeries, pavilions, ponds and corridors. Yuyuan Garden is surrounding by a busy market place, where visitors can find everything from popular local snacks, handicrafts, antiques and souvenirs to some famous time-honored restaurants.
- Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall: A short walk across Renmin Square from the Shanghai Museum, this offers a fascinating insight into Shanghai's future. The 2nd floor has a giant walkaround model of the city, and other floors have great displays and interactive exhibitions.
- The Bund: This 1.5-kilometer-long embankment runs along the western bank of Huangpu River. On its west side it is the "architecture gallery" with 52 well-preserved old European style buildings. Once the major trading and commercial center of old Shanghai, the Bund has now taken on new vitality, with futuristic developments, chic restaurants, top end shops and bars offer plenty to see and do-and by night it's magic!
- Oriental Pearl TV Tower: One of the tallest TV towers in the world, known for its distinctive spheres, or "pearls", it stands across the river from the Bund, among the exciting architecture of the east bank. The Shanghai History Museum is Located on the first floor of the Oriental TV Tower. There you can see the four major exhibition units reflecting Shanghai's history, modern and recent revolutionary history respectively.

- Dr Sun Yat Sen Mausoleum: Dr. Sun-Yat Sen's Mausoleum, at the foot of the majestic Purple Mountain, is permeated with a solemn atmosphere. It often arouses a sentiment of respect with its glazed torii; steep, long stairways (392 steps) leading up to the memorial hall, and its inscribed headstone, which all attest to the great deeds of this honorable man.
- Qinhuai River Bazaar: The bazaar contains a mind-boggling array of goods. As the veil of night descends, the area is lit up with colorful lights, creating a quite impressive scene. A lovely street market is set up, and both tourists and locals alike joyfully participate in the bargain hunting.
- Confucius Temple: The Confucius Temple (Fuzimiao) was built in the year 1034 and dedicated to worshiping the great philosopher Confucius. Many shops, restaurants and bars, have been included with the temple to make it a commercial and entertainment center combining rich culture and arts. The Dacheng Hall in Fuzimiao scenic area has is the largest figure of Confucius in China. The largest river in the city - Qin Huai River flow in front of the Confucius Temple
- Linggu Park: The Linggu Temple itself is a very active Buddhist Temple. Originally built in the Ming dynasty but recently restored, the Temple provides an insight into Chinese Buddhism and the everyday life of these monks. The Temple has a shrine containing the skull of the Chinese monk who went to India to collect the Buddhist scriptures.

- President Palace: The President Palace dates from the Ming Dynasty, and was expanded and renamed the "Heavenly King Palace" during the time of Taiping's Heavenly Kingdom, a power established by rebels during the Qing dynasty. In 1912 the palace served as the headquarters of Dr, Sun-yat Sen's government.
- The Memorial Hall to the Victims in the Nanjing Massacre : The hall was dedicated to the victims of the appalling Nanjing Massacre committed by the Japanese army during World War Two. The suppressed historical sorrow displayed and the somber atmosphere reflected always evokes passionate feelings of "no more wars" among its visitors.
- Zhonghua Gate: Zhonghua Men Gate is the largest castle-style gate among the 13 ancient city gates in Nanjing. It's the best preserved and, architecturally, most complicated ancient castle in the world. The elaborately designed castle contains three closed courtyards and four arched gates serving as entrances to the city.

- One Day Shenyang Tour : You will be picked up at your hotel. We will start our tour by visiting the magnificent Shenyang Imperial Palace. It is the most ancient imperial architectural complex from the Qing Dynasty in the country and next in importance to the Forbidden City in Beijing. Beiling Park is our next spot where you will visit the Zhao Tomb, which is a Key Cultural attraction. After lunch your guide will show you more of the Shenyang before you're be transferred back to your hotel.

Day 5Shanghai Departure

- Half-Day Shanghai Seat-in-coach Tour : This is an organized group tour. First we will pick you up at the appointed boarding hotel at the appointed time. You are advised to go to one of the boarding destinations if you are not check in these four hotels. The tours start with Yu Garden which is a traditional Chinese park complete with beautiful pavilions, miniature lakes, bridges and rock formations. And then continue our tour to "Xintiandi", which is a rejuvenated old quarter with lots of cafes, quirky and upmarket shops, and western food. After visiting Former French Concession and Pearl City, you will arrive at the Bund to see a new vitality of Shanghai. After the tour, you will back to your hotel by yourself. (Lunch excluded)

We use different hotels for different tour classes while the itinerary is the same. Deluxe Class is usually staying at a 5-star hotel, Superior Class at a 4-star hotel and Tourist Class at a 3-star level hotel. The prices for one person are based on sharing twin hotel rooms with another guest. A supplement is necessary if you want to book single rooms. And the prices may rise during national holidays, such as the National Day (September 30th to October 6th) and Chinese New Year (late January or early February)
