Brief Introduction

Century Boulevard starts in the west from the oriental pearl tv tower and reaches century park in the east. the total length of it is 5 kilometers long, which is china's first landscape boulevard. It's as wide as 100 meters, including 31 meters wide 6 fast and 2 slow double-direction lanes and the 6 meters wide auxiliary roads on both sides. there are green separation belt between the main lanes and the auxiliary road. the boulevard is designed with features of dissymmetry, with 8 rest gardens on the north side of the pedestrian. 2 sculpture squares are set in the west laoshao road and the intersection of yanggao road. besides, there are places for recreation and art gallery etc. century boulevard is a rare landscape in Shanghai.
