Brief Introduction
The former residence of Luxun is a three-story red-brick and red-tile building in the style of the civil buildings of Shaoxing, the hometown of Luxun.. Luxun moved from Guangzhou to Shanghai in October 1927 and died on October 19th 1936. He lived in Shanghai for 9 years. he lived first in Jingyun lane of Qiujiang Road and then moved to No.9 Dalu new village of Shanying Road. He often went to neishan bookstore and hongkou park. after his death, it was suggested that the name of Hongkou Park should be changed to Luxun park, and later Luxun's tomb was moved from Wangguo cemetery to Hongkou Park. in October 1956, the 20th anniversary of Luxun's death, the Luxun Museum was built in the style of civil buildings in Jiangnan, and in 1988, the name was changed to "Luxun Park".
