Shanghai Pudong International Airport

with an area of 40 square kilometers, pudong interdomestic airport is in the eastern part of shanghai, 30km from the center of the city and 40km from the rainbow bridge airport. after the finish of the first-step reform project, the pudong airport will be of the capacity of 300,000 aircraft handling and treat 36,500,000 passengers which can satisfy the need before the second waiting room was put into use in 2008.

at present, the pudong airport has the flight of 560 per day which accounts for about 60% of the whole shanghai airport. there are 48 airliners home and abroad establishing connection with pudong airport and the flying lines cover 73 interdomestic cities and areas and 62 cities in china. there are flights directly to l.s, new york, san francisco, seattle, ankh, rich, fukuoka, nagasaki, nagoya, osaka, tokyo, bangkok, brussels, frankfurt, madrid, paris, singapore, kasha, rome and other big cities. besides, there are also district ional flights from shanghai to hong kong and macaw.
