Wild Great Tour by Sidecar Motorbike
Avoid the traffic jams plus experience the wilder side of the Great Wall. Climb aboard the 1930's style motorbike & sidecar for visit one of the lesser know parts of the Wall - Huanghuacheng Great Wall. Be prepared to hike and climb to reach the best parts but it's worth the effort. (A minimum group of 2 people is request.)
Pick up at the hotel by 9:30 am and head north, out of Beijing city, after 30 mins of motorway and 30 min of nice countryside and hilly roads, We usually make our stop at the Silver Mountains Pagodas. This is not on most tourist maps but is an amazing cultural and historic site.
After another 45 min ride in the mountains we arrive at the foot of the Great Wall. We then start the quite demanding climb that takes about 45 min.
On the top we have a Quality French picnic with the magnificent view of the Great Wall all around. There are no tourist there so it's just relaxing time.
After an hour or so we start the descent. We should arrive at the hotel by 7:00 pm.
One passenger ride in the sidecar and another is able to travel as a pillion passenger behind the guide/driver. One person only is permitted in the sidecar.
