Founded in 1995, the BYD is now one of the top automobile brands in China and the second largest rechargeable battery manufacturing company in the world. They began to manufacture automobiles in 2003. There keywords are “Creativity and Technology”. Their mission is to sell civil cars at reasonable prices.

The activities in this three-hour day trip package include:

  • Watch the video about the mission of BYD.
  • Learn about the development of BYD in their exhibition halls.
  • Visit the production line of the lithium battery. Lithium batteries are widely used for electric bikes, the most popular mode of transport for thousands of small families in China.
  • Ascend to the roof of a BYD's building for a quick glimpse BYD's solar power system.
  • Sit in a BYD's sport utility vehicle for a short ride.
