Yangtze River reveals itself as a long picture scroll with stunning sceneries along its banks. Cruising with the luxury President Cruise along it from Shanghai to experience its history and majesty.
Make your own arrangement to take a flight from Shanghai to Yichang. Our local guide will meet you at Yichang airport and escort you to cruise pier to board on the ship. Dinner is not included and we suggest that you buy some snacks in local supermarket. Start your Yangtze River cruise from Yichang to Chongqing at 9:00pm.

07:00-08:30 Passing the Xiling Gorge (East Part). Xiling Gorge is the longest among the three gorges and known for its tortuous channel, dense reefs and shoaly waters.

08:30-10:30 Shore excursion to Tribe of the three gorges (optional, RMB 260 p/p).
13:30-15:30 Shore excursion to the Three Gorges Dam. A two-hour shore excursion in small groups to the largest water-control project in the world. Get a panoramic view of the dam on the viewing platform.
16:00 Sail through Five Level ship lock.
16:00-18:00 Passing the Xiling Gorge (West Part)
18:00-20:00 Evening entertainment with crew's dancing & singing performance will be held on board.

08:00-12:00 Shore excursion to Shennong Stream. Shennong Stream is elegant and peaceful. Take a small boat drifting along the river, accompanied by the beautiful natural scenery.
13:00-15:00 Pass through the 1st gorge - Wu Gorge which is famed with twelve peaks standing in different shapes.
16:00-16:30 Pass through the 2nd gorge - Qutang Gorge. Qutang Gorge is the most dangerous among the three. View steep precipices standing on both banks on the deck of the ship.
15:00-19:00 Shore excursionto White Emperor City (optional, RMB 260 p/p)
| 9:00-11:30 Shore excursion to Fengdu Ghost City which is famous for its variety of structures of the netherworld.
14:00-16:00 Chinese cultural lectures - including Chinese Traditional Medicine lecture, Chinese painting and calligraphy lecture and more.
18:00 Farewell Dinner
| Your Yangtze River cruise ends after breakfast. The ship disembarks in Chongqing at 09:00am and our local guide will transfer you to Chongqing airport. We kindly advise you book your flight back to Shanghai earlier.
We use different hotels for different tour classes while the itinerary is the same. Deluxe Class is usually staying at a 5-star hotel, Superior Class at a 4-star hotel and Tourist Class at a 3-star level hotel. The prices for one person are based on sharing twin hotel rooms with another guest. A supplement is necessary if you want to book single rooms. And the prices may rise during national holidays, such as the National Day (September 30th to October 6th) and Chinese New Year (late January or early February)
All of our tour guides are certificated and experienced. They are local experts with detailed knowledge about attractions, history, culture and more. They know the best places to visit, can give you advice on restaurants that serve great local food, the best places to shop, or theaters for the best shows in town.
We use the modern air-conditioned luxury cars for families or 2-3 persons and small buses for small groups of 4-7 persons.
We ensure that all of the vehicles that we use are well-maintained (not over 4 years) and always very clean. Our drivers are very nice and careful with over 5-year drive experience.
