Tour Itinerary

9:00 AM - 12:00 PM, Hotel Pick-Up and Visit Hu Xueyan's Resident House, Kiln Museum.

Your guide will meet you in the lobby of your downtown Hangzhou hotel at 09:00. You will begin by exploring Hu Xueyan's Resident House, the owner of the house was a prominent "red-top merchant" in the late Qing Dynasty. You can see magnificent architecture, delicate wood/brick/stone carvings, the largest artificial rock cave, and precious furniture and calligraphy works..

Next, visit the Official Kiln Museum of the Southern Song Dynasty, which is located on the site of one of Hangzhou's five renowned kilns from 800 years ago. You can view part of the excavation site and enjoy exhibitions of exquisite chinaware and ceramics that have been unearthed, as well as stunning Chinese porcelain from over the centuries.

Please note that the Official Kiln Museum is closed on Tuesdays.

12:00 PM - 1:00 PM, Lunch at a Local Restaurant.

Savor a meal at a nearby restaurant, where you can sample local Hangzhou dishes and experience their unique flavors. Your guide will assist in ordering based on your preferences.

1:00 PM - 4:00 PM, Qinghefang Pedestrian Street, Huqingyu Tang Museum.

After lunch, visit Qinghefang Pedestrian Street, the only well-preserved ancient street in Hangzhou, still retaining its historic charm. Stroll along and explore a variety of crafts, food, and products.

Move on to Hu Qing Yu Tang Chinese Traditional Medicine Museum, the only Chinese traditional and herbal medicine museum in China. You can watch a demonstration by experienced staff of the preparation of some medicines, and even try some if you are interested.
