Tour Itinerary

9:00 AM - 12:00 PM, Hotel Pick-Up and visit the Meijiawu Tea Village.

Your guide and driver will arrive at your hotel in Hangzhou around 9 am to commence your Hangzhou Tea Culture Experience.

Meijiawu Tea Village is the birthplace of China’s finest tea — West Lake Dragon Well. A local tea farmer will greet you with traditional bamboo baskets and hats, guiding you to the tea plantation.

Initially, you'll learn to select the right tea leaves and pick them correctly. Following the tea-picking, the farmer will demonstrate the stir-frying process, which dehydrates the leaves and preserves their vibrant green hue. You'll then learn the proper method of brewing a cup of tea.

After bidding farewell to the tea village, we'll journey to a local restaurant nestled within the plantation to relish some tea-inspired cuisine.

12:00 PM - 1:00 PM, Lunch at a Local Restaurant.

Savor a meal at a nearby restaurant, where you can sample local Hangzhou dishes and experience their unique flavors, savoring tea with exquisite delicacies.

1:00 PM - 4:00 PM, China National Tea Museum.

After lunch, we will proceed to visit the China National Tea Museum, the only museum in the country dedicated to tea.

Surrounded by tea gardens, it boasts five exhibition halls that vividly depict the evolution of Chinese tea and its rich, colorful culture over millennia. The Tea Evolution Hall showcases the production process and evolution of Chinese tea, featuring both domestic and imported varieties.

Return to the hotel after the tour concludes.
