9:00 AM - 10:00 AM, Pick Up from your Hotel in Shanghai, The Bund

Meet your guide/driver at your Shanghai hotel for an on-time pick-up. Travel to The Bund (around 15-25 minutes, depending on hotel location). Upon arrival, start a guided stroll along the waterfront to appreciate the historic colonial architecture (e.g., Peace Hotel, Customs House).

Discover Shanghai's history as a key global trading hub and take photos of the skyline juxtaposed with Pudong's contemporary towers in the distance.

Once you arrive at Lujiazui, the Oriental Pearl Tower looms large. Standing at an impressive height, the tower is one of Shanghai's most recognizable landmarks. You can take an elevator to the observation deck, where you'll be treated to a 360-degree panoramic view of Shanghai.

12:00 PM - 1:30 PM, Have Lunch at Local Restaurant

Have lunch at a restaurant near Lujiazui. There is a variety of cuisines to choose from here. Whether it's the rich and flavorful Shanghai-style cuisine or exotic-flavored dishes, they can satisfy your taste buds.

1:30 PM - 3:00 PM, Take a Boat Down to the Huangpu River

After lunch, get ready for a cruise on the Huangpu River. This calm boat ride lets you see the beauty of Shanghai from a new perspective. While sailing, you'll spot the famous Yangpu Bridge and Nanpu Bridge. On one side, you'll see the old buildings of The Bund, and on the other side, you'll see the tall modern skyscrapers of Lujiazui, like the Shanghai Tower, Jin Mao Tower, and Oriental Pearl Tower, creating a striking difference.

3:00 PM - 5:00 PM, Visit the Shanghai Museum East (Closed on Tuesdays)

Explore a diverse collection of ancient Chinese artifacts in Shanghai Museum East. Inside, the museum houses an impressive collection of ancient calligraphy and paintings.

You can expect to see works by renowned masters from different dynasties. Starting from the elegant paintings of Gu Kaizhi in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, passing through the brushstrokes of Wu Daozi and Wang Wei in the Tang and Song Dynasties, and reaching the classic pieces of famous artists in the Yuan, Ming, and Qing Dynasties.

  • No-show travelers will be charged 100% of the tour price. Additionally, we are unable to provide refunds for any unused services once the trip has commenced, whether due to non-participation, early departure, late arrival, or missed tour days.

Extra Charges for Additional Time

You enjoy free pick-up service for up to 8 hours. If your service goes beyond this time, there will be an additional charge of CNY200 per hour for the driver and CNY300 per hour for the guide.
