Meet your guide at the Renaissance Shanghai Yu Garden Hotel on the Bund to begin your tour of Shanghai.
Note: You can take Subway Line 10 and get off at the Yuyuan Garden stop, go out Exit 3, and walk across the street to the hotel. Upon your arrival, please locate our friendly guide who holding a sign that reads "Mubus: Shanghai Discovery".
Just ten minutes after arriving, you'll find yourself immersed in the vibrant atmosphere of Shanghai's Old Town, also known as the Chenghuang Historical Area. Prepare to be enchanted by the area's vibrant ambiance and traditional charm. Discover enchanting narrow streets adorned with local handicraft stores, offering delectable traditional treats and unique souvenirs for your delight.
Yuyuan Garden is designed in the classic Chinese garden style. As you step in, you'll discover a peaceful spot.
There are small buildings where you can relax and enjoy the view. Colorful koi fish swim in calm ponds surrounded by pretty rocks carefully arranged for a beautiful and peaceful setting.
After visiting Yuyuan Garden, you'll head to the charming Zhujiajiao Water Town, located an hour away from Yuyuan Garden. Enjoy a scenic drive away from the city, with our guide sharing fascinating stories about Zhujiajiao along the way.
Upon arrival in Zhujiajiao, enjoy a light meal of Shanghai-style cuisine and sample some delicious local snacks.
