In Guilin Mr.Wei was friendly, easy going and flexible. I was especially impressed with how he got to know us, determined what we might enjoy and then made excellent suggestions.

We had a wonderful experience. From the time I first wrote to China Highlights I received really excellent service. I had some particular things in mind for our trip and you exceeded them all.

Our two guides were both excellent. In Guilin Mr.Wei was friendly, easy going and flexible. I was especially impressed with how he got to know us, determined what we might enjoy and then made excellent suggestions. The visits were so interesting and the scenery marvelous. On the boat he gave us our privacy but frequently came to check on us and answer questions and talk about what we were seeing. We loved Yangshou. Wei suggested cooking lessons and they were the highlight of our trip. He helped my son buy a mah jong set and was helpful in so many ways explaining things about the culture and history of the region. We also attended the show on the lake shore - also a great suggestion of his, and we really enjoyed it. He makes you feel really comfortable.

Our guide Helen in Guangzhou was really remarkable. In Guangzhou our visits allowed us to explore both ancient and modern history of China. Helen is very knowledgeable and enthusiastically answered all of our many questions. By the end of the day we all feel like we had a strong sense of China's past and some of the key heros in the change from a feudal to a modern society.

I had visited China in my work many times but for my family it was a first visit. I wanted them to find the same fascinating place that I had found. Our China Highlights trip made that happen.
