Overall, I had a wonderful trip.

Perhaps, my biggest disappointment was the room in Beijing at the King Parkview Hotel. I would have preferred something a little more upscale.

I really liked the hotels in Xi’an and Shanghai

In hindsight I also wish I had spent fewer days in Beijing. I think two days, instead of three, would have been better.

That said, I appreciated the planning and overall was satisfied in this regard.
