Tour Itinerary

Day 1 Shanghai to Luoyang, Pick-up from the train station in Luoyang, the Longmen Grottoes.

• Dinner

Take the high-speed train G1974 (07:17-13:00) in the morning for a 4.5-hour journey directly from Shanghai to Luoyang.

A guide and driver will meet you at Luoyang Station for a private transfer to the Longmen Grottoes. Check off the UNESCO World Heritage Site and immerse yourself in the grandeur of Tang Dynasty stone carvings.

After visiting the grottoes, head to a Luoyang restaurant for dinner. Concluding the dinner, the guide will escort you back to the hotel to rest. 

Day 2 the Shaolin Temple, Transport to Luoyang Railway Station.

• Breakfast, Lunch

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, your guide will pick you up for a visit to the Shaolin Temple, where visit the Permanent Residence Compound and the Pagoda Forest, and watch a martial arts performance.

After the temple tour, you'll have lunch at a nearby local restaurant.

Following lunch, you'll be transported to Luoyang Railway Station to take the high-speed train back to Shanghai.
