We did have a wonderful time in China. I wrote a long review on my last review in Shanghai but I am happy to rewrite here again.

I would definitely recommend China Highlights to anyone who is interested in traveling to China.

- Cell phone: giving us a cell phone to use with minutes for international call is very useful. I think that this feature that you have makes China Highlights stand out. I fell on my head an the phone was useful for getting in touch with our insurance to finding out a good hospital to go to.

We also used it to check with our credit card company in USA when we had problems with our credit card.

- Great customer service: we had spoken to Alex in Xi'an about our unhappiness with the hotels in Beijing and Xi'an and immediately felt that the change was made. I believe we had upgraded rooms in Shanghai and Huangshag. Thank you for the quick response.

-Drivers/Guide: they were always on time to meet us at hotels and airports. Drivers drove safely.

-Welcome pack from each guide in each city: we appreciate the waters, wet wipes and maps. Good service.

- Meals: we had more then enough food to eat and never felt that we couldn't order anything because of cost it was too much.

I would like to say again that your guide, April, in Huangshang, was the BEST guide we had all of our trips.

-She had wonderful happy personality and easy to talk to

-She was knowledgeable and able to answer any and all of our questions

-She is a genuine person and not try to be fake nice to us

-What made her stand out was the little details that impressed us that other guides did not do:

1) she took us to our rooms in each of the hotel that we stayed at (Huangshang and on Beihai) to make sure that we were satisfied with the rooms

2) she called us to double check that the heater was turned on for us in Behai

3) I had fell and hit my head in Shanghai and she helped me walk down the steps on the mountains

4) she genuinely enjoyed the hike on the mountain and had great spirits. always speaking and smiling

5) we discovered that our daughter loved 'steamed eggs'. she called ahead at one of the restaurants that we were going to stop by for lunch and ordered the dish for our daughter.

6) on the last day, she brought our daughter some coloring books so that she could have something to play with on the plane

7) she brought us small snack on the mountain as we hike during the day.

I can go on and on about April. We really enjoyed her company and our daughter adored her. We wanted to make sure that you knew how much we enjoyed her service. She was professional and friendly. When she gave us the review, she never asked or 'lead' us to give her a good review.
