Most importantly, though, she has offered options that go beyond the basic tourist fare, suggesting sites and activities many tour companies do not advertise. I want to offer my students a taste of China beyond the tourist traps; I have been privileged to live in China and interact with the wonderful people in your country. I hope to offer some of that same experience to my students. Jane's enthusiasm shows in what she proposes.
