Leslie's Feedback on 20-Day China Tour

The best on was Lijiang because we would leave earlier in the morning allowing us to get things done and later giving us some time to go around shopping or resting after a busy day,the town of Lijiang was one of the most beautiful places I have ever been to and I would like to spend a longer time there.

I am sorry if it took so long to write to you but we have been suffering from the jetlag and we are getting better until now. I was very impressed with the way and speed that China is developing and it was an eye opening experience.

My family's trip to China was a memorable, beautiful and inspiring trip. There were several highlights for me which are:

The views of the Guilin boat ride to Yangshuo (but not the food on the boat)

The bike ride at Yangshuo because I got to ride along the beautiful landscape and get some exercise

The day trip to see the rice terraces because the food was wonderful and the view was breathtaking

ALL the trip in Lijiang because our guide, Li, was absolutely wonderful making our time there one of the best.

The history museum in Xian because it allowed us to undertand more of the the history if what we were taken to see

The bike ride on the Xian city wall

The terracota warriors because they are a world wonder

The Summer palace, the Forbidden city and the Temple of heaven in Beijing because they are must-sees.

And the water provided for us on every place. Thank very much for that.

It is a magical place, Li, our tour guide in Lijiang was by far the best tour guide we had in this trip. She was very special starting from the fact that she came from a minorty and that she was so in love with her people and territory. She knew a lot about her area and she was always open to answering our many questions in a patient and gentle manner. She is a wonderful person and I say she should be either given a raise or promoted to a higher position because her dedication is worthy of noting.

The hotels were wonderful. Aside from hotels some meals were amazing such as the Naaxi meals in LIjiang, the meal at the rice terraces in Guiling, and one in Beijing after the face-painting event. The ones we disliked were the dumplings in Xian, although the show after that was very good.

I would recommend your company because it was very easy for us to organize our trip from Guatemala when you were all the way in China. You also made it very easy for us to chose what ever we wanted from places to visit to the hotels we wanted and any other change done,I would suggest future travelers to climb every mountain, go into every cave and eat any street food that looks, smells yummy and looks to be cooked in a hygienic place. If you can climb up the pagoda, DO IT! If you can take a picture dressed as a local, DO IT! I especially liked both the bike rides because I like doing exercise but that could be different with people who do not like working out. I loved it!
