Fisher's Feedback on 4-Day China Tour

Thank you for your recent email re our trip to Guilin last weekend. Wethoroughly enjoyed our trip and were very satisfied with every stage of its organisation and itinerary.

It is a difficult to single out one particular part as the very best. We have decided that the cycling was the best. We loved this on the Sunday morning - an ideal time and place for this activity - this area of countryside is stunning and we loved the calm and tranquil mood here. Our guide stopped along the way to point out interesting aspects - and to give us time to look around and take photos. Yangshuo is such a great place to spend time - certainly a favourite place for us! Our free time enabled us to look around both Guilin and Yangshuo at our own pace. Our hotels were very conveniently located to the town centres so that we could wander round them easily. The balance between organised time and our own time also worked very effectively for us.

The list of restaurants provided was helpful and we did use this and were pleased with them when we visited them. Our tour guide was excellent in every way. She was informative, always helpful, courteous and keen to make our trip as enjoyable and as stress-free as possible. She was also very good company - we very much enjoyed talking to her over shared meals - she was always interesting and insightful on so many issues. Stand-out points also were the Li River cruise - so much to see along the way. Great weather too! We also loved visiting the old house on our cycling trip in Yangshuo and talking to the women who lived here. We didn't really know what to expect of Guilin and Yangshuo. They were very different from Shanghai where we live at present. The air was much fresher and all was more relaxed.We would wholeheartedly recommend your organisation to others wanting to visit this area of China. Your service was always prompt, efficient and sensitive to all the requests we made for this trip.
