Linda's Feedback on 42-Day China Tour

We liked that with your company the guides gaves us menus and consulted with us about each dish that was ordered. We like that guides always had water on hand for us. The vans we had were for the most part comfortable and roomy. The guides and drivers were always on time and friendly. The driver we had on the second day in Beijing was a rather scarey driver and we did not always feel safe, but the other drivers were very good.

Our guide in Shanghai, Helen, was excellent. She was by far the best one we had. She was extremely knowledgeable and helpful.

In Chengdu, Michelle was very personable and helpful. She was lots of fun to be around and knowledgeable.

A suggestion that one member of our group suggested was that when the guides meet a group at the airport, find out if they are hungry or need anything else immediately. When we arrived in Beijing we were very hungry, not having eaten for nine hours because of delays with the flight and inedible food on the flight. All we wanted was something to eat right away.

I would suggest if you are catering to a North American clientelle that you strive to find guides who are more proficient in English. Having knowledgeable local guides is important. Helen and Michelle were able to give us lots of information and stories that only a local would know.

You did an excellent job preparing our itineray for us and you were very accomodating. Some parts of the tour China Highlights did better than the other tour company we used. With the other company, we were not consulted about meals. The guides just generally asked about what kinds of foods we liked and all of our meals were ordered for us.
