Denise's Feedback on 6-Day China Tour

The most memorable part was the 20 klm walk along the river, most spectacular scenery also enjoyed the lovely peaceful bike ride from Yangshuo to the Dragon River. The drive up to and from Longshen was also very spectacular and I would have liked to have been able to stop for some good photos if possible.

I have returned home, and I really enjoyed the trip around Guilin.

The drive up to and from Longshen was also very spectacular and I would have liked to have been able to stop for some good photos if possible.

Meanwhile, really enjoyed and was surprised by Yangshuo shopping and restaurants. Very easy to shop and explore and also many people speaking English compared to Guilin.

The cultural show was very good although the crowd was a little noisy, talking on mobile phones etc. Didn't need to understand Chinese to enjoy it. The Yangshuo cooking class was more enjoyable than I expected. The cook has exceptional English was very forthcoming in information and I enjoyed, as an independent traveller meeting other tourists. We also met other tourists on the hike which added to its memorability. I think combining independent travel with group tours as I have in other parts of the world is a really good option. The night boat trip was pleasant but I probably wouldn't do the Dragon River bamboo raft again. The scenery was better on the hike and the boat stopped twice for a while along the way to try to sell photos and drinks which gets a bit annoying and uses up time.
