Tour Description

Jiuwu Village about 32 kilometers north of Guilin is a living relic from the Yuan, Ming, and Qing Dynasties.

In the morning, we will pick you up at your hotel and embark on the private 1.5 hours drive to Jiuwu Village. The small town is like a maximum, with narrow alleyways and cobblestone streets. As you explore, you will see details that allude to the superstitious nature of the Chinese such as mirrors hung on home doors to drive away ghosts, the centuries-old homes made of blue-painted stone make for picturesque photos, not to mention the old temples, gates, tombs, water wells, bridges, and more. Surrounding the village is a wonderful landscape of greenery and mountains. Lunch will be taken at a local restaurant in the county.
